Felix Rivera brings 30+ years of industry experience and a vast network of industry influencers to Mink Hollow Advisors. He brings a “Practical Application” approach with a focus on Operations, Product Management, Sales & Marketing and Legal/Compliance emphasis. Felix’s consulting and executive leadership experience encompasses Operations, Trading, Corporate Strategy, Investment Product Management, Technology Platform Development, Sales and Marketing for leading financial institutions.

To clients, Felix’s commitment to delivering value add regardless of the engagement, is never compromised. The value can come in many forms providing a client alternative options for consideration to meet their needs, “Thinking Outside the Box.” His vast industry knowledge, experience, and network, allow him to work in all environments and across all organizations. Pre-consultant career highlights:

  • Consulted to many of the world’s leading financial institutions on a wide variety of projects during the ten years at Independent Channel Advisors.

  • Biondo Investment Advisors, Chief Operating Officer, established a dual broker dealer and RIA. Lead a team through the formation process and established the order of operations for the business.

  • Smith Barney, Chief Technology Officer for the Portfolio Management Group. Responsible for the development and enhancements of the portfolio management trading tools for the PM, GPM and ETF discretionary programs. Enhanced the block trading platform to support a wide array of discretionary and non-discretionary programs.

  • Smith Barney, Marketing and Sales Director, consulted and advised participants of the largest advisor discretionary program on developing best practices and assisted retail management in the recruiting of qualified recruits.

  • Shearson Lehman Brothers, Managed Accounts Operations, led the operational development for the “Pioneers of Managed Money” the “Consulting Group”.

Personal highlights: 

  • Early: : Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx to immigrant parents. While attending college in NYC Felix started out as a dish washer and ended up four years later as the night chef at Ben Benson’s Steakhouse. A highly competitive athlete in high school Felix lettered in football and baseball.

  • Now: Enjoys spending time with his family, is an avid golfer, traveler, foodie, wine connoisseur and music lover. A sports enthusiast, who played baseball into his 40’s and football in high school.

  • Future: Continue the family biannual family vacation, pre-COVID Mediterranean Cruise and southern Italy discovery trip. Annual Palm Spring Thanksgiving golf trip with oldest son.
