Mt Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, in the country of Tanzania. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to climb to it's 19,341 ft peak in February 2017. The mountain is part of the Kilimanjaro National Park and is a major climbing destination for mountaineers at all skill levels. It is generally considered to be the "easiest" of the seven peaks (highest mountain in each continent) but a great test of the body's ability to acclimatize to 19,000+ feet. Next up: Mt.
